Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected on the website bubot-digum.com (the "Website"), what it is used for, to whom it is disclosed and what rights you have regarding it. The Website is operated by Mekor HaTextile Ltd., Company No. 513359711, under the brand HaBayit LaBubot (the "Company", "we" or "us"). This policy is written in language as plain as possible and forms part of the Website Terms of Use.

1. Who Is Responsible for the Information

The owner of the information and the party responsible for it is Mekor HaTextile Ltd., 15 Kfar Giladi St., Tel Aviv. For any question or request regarding privacy, you can contact us by email at habayt.labuvot@gmail.com, by phone at 03-9444226, or through the Contact Us page.

2. What Information We Collect

Information you provide to us: full name, phone number, email address, delivery address, order details, and for business customers also the business name and the business or company registration number for invoicing. When you contact us via a form, email, phone or WhatsApp, the content of your inquiry is also stored.

Payment information: Payment is processed through the PayPlus payment system. Credit card details are entered directly with the payment processor and are not stored on the Company's servers. We store only the transaction confirmation, the amount and the last four digits of the card, to the extent the payment processor provides them.

Automatically collected information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, time of visit, the address from which you reached the Website and cookie identifiers. This information is collected using cookies and measurement tools, as detailed in Section 7.

3. Are You Required to Provide the Information

You are under no legal obligation to provide us with information. However, without a name, phone number, email and delivery address, we will not be able to accept an order, fulfill it or get back to you. Information is provided of your own free will and with your consent.

4. How We Use the Information

• Receiving and processing orders, packing, delivery or preparation for pickup

• Issuing invoices and receipts and retaining them as required by law

• Responding to inquiries, advising on product selection and preparing quotes for business customers

• Handling cancellations, returns, exchanges and complaints

• Sending updates about your order (confirmation, shipment, ready for pickup)

• Improving the Website, fixing errors and preventing fraud and misuse

• Traffic measurement and statistical analysis, subject to your consent to analytics cookies

• Advertising and marketing, including direct mail and personalized advertising, subject to your explicit consent

• Complying with legal obligations, including tax and consumer protection laws

5. Who the Information Is Shared With

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared with third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the Website and fulfill orders:

• The payment processor PayPlus, to process payment

• Courier companies, to deliver the order (name, phone number and address only)

• Hosting, infrastructure and email providers that operate the Website and the Company's systems

• The Company's accounting system and accountant, for invoices and reporting

• Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta (Pixel), only if you have consented to analytics or marketing cookies

• Government authorities or a court, when required by law

Some of these providers, mainly hosting providers and measurement tools, operate outside Israel. Information is transferred to them in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law and its regulations, to providers subject to equivalent data protection laws or to appropriate contractual undertakings.

6. How Long the Information Is Retained

Order and invoice details are retained for the period required by law, currently seven years under the bookkeeping regulations. Inquiries that did not lead to an order are retained for up to one year for follow-up and service purposes. Marketing mailing information is retained until you ask to be removed. Statistical data from measurement tools is retained according to those tools' settings, and for no more than 26 months.

7. Cookies and Measurement Tools

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. On your first visit to the Website, a consent banner is displayed with three categories:

• Essential – required for the Website to function: shopping cart, checkout process, security and saving your consent choice. These cookies are always active.

• Analytics – Google Analytics, for measuring traffic and understanding which pages are viewed. Loaded only after consent.

• Marketing – Google Ads and Meta Pixel, for displaying personalized advertising and measuring campaign results. Loaded only after consent.

You can change your choice at any time via the Manage Cookies link at the bottom of the Website, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from placing an order.

8. Direct Marketing and Advertising

Advertising messages by email, SMS or WhatsApp are sent only to those who have given explicit consent, in accordance with the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742–1982. Every such message includes an option to unsubscribe, and you can also request removal by email at habayt.labuvot@gmail.com. Operational messages about an order you placed (confirmation, shipment, ready for pickup) are not marketing mail and are sent in any case.

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, you may demand that information about you not be used for direct mail or not be passed on to others for that purpose, and we will act on your request.

9. Your Rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981, every person may:

• Review the information about them that we hold

• Request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date

• Request deletion of information, subject to information we are required to retain by law (for example, invoices)

• Request removal from direct mail

• Withdraw consent to analytics and marketing cookies at any time

Requests should be submitted by email to habayt.labuvot@gmail.com. We will ask to verify your identity before handling the request and will respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority.

10. Information Security

The Website is secured with the HTTPS protocol, access to the management system is password-restricted to authorized persons only, and payments are processed by a payment processor that complies with the PCI DSS standard. We take accepted security measures in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777–2017. However, no system is completely immune, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a serious security incident, we will act in accordance with the reporting obligations under the law.

11. Minors

The Website is intended for persons aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with information, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Website may include links to external websites, for example to our Instagram page or to the payment processor's website. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them, and we recommend reading the policy of every website you visit.

13. Changes to the Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example following a change in the law or the addition of tools to the Website. The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the update. Use of the Website after the update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
