A house for modeling and display dolls is a direct importer of mannequins, model dolls and display equipment for stores, studios and those who sew at home. Our warehouse and showroom are located in Tel Aviv, the stock is available on the shelf, and anyone who wants to see a doll up close before buying, is welcome to come and try it on.
The brand is new. The experience is not.
Behind the house for dolls is Mekor Textiles Ltd., a family business in Tel Aviv that has been operating since 1968 and is now managed by the third generation. At the source of textiles, we have been selling haberdashery and sewing accessories to professionals and amateurs for more than five decades, and for more than five years we have also imported and sold model dolls and mannequins. The demand grew, the variety grew with it, and at a certain point it was clear that this field needed a home of its own. Thus was born the house for modeling and display dolls: a new name for an activity that already has seniority, regular suppliers and returning customers.
Direct imports, without intermediaries
We import directly from the United States, Germany, China and other countries, from certified factories that work under quality control. Alongside our dedicated production, you will also find international brands such as PRYM. When there is no middleman on the way, the price the customer pays reflects the importer's price, and the responsibility for what arrives in Israel is ours alone. Before a model enters inventory, we check for samples, sizes, stability and finishing, because a doll that does not stand straight or a size that does not match the table is returned to us, not to the manufacturer.

The inventory is kept in our warehouse in Tel Aviv, and for most models the supply is from the existing inventory, without waiting for an order from abroad.
Come, See, Measure
A picture on the website doesn't tell it all. Shoulder height, waist circumference, base weight, how the doll falls apart and connects. In our showroom at Kfar Giladi 15 you can see the main models, compare them and get advice on choosing a suitable size. Anyone who comes with a customer's measurements or a sketch of a shop window leaves with an answer. You can also call or write on WhatsApp, send a photo of what you are looking for and get a recommendation before the trip.
Same service for one store and an entire chain
Our customers are fashion stores and chains, independent designers, seamstresses, design studios, fashion schools, photographers, theaters and wholesale stores, and also those who buy one sample mannequin for sewing at home. The difference between them is in quantity, not in ratio. A business customer receives a customized wholesale quote according to quantities and delivery dates; a private customer receives the same advice and the same inspection of the product before it leaves the warehouse.
Wholesale
Stores, chains and resellers who want to work with us on an ongoing basis are invited to contact us by phone, WhatsApp or through the contact us page. We prepare a personal quote according to the models and quantities, and coordinate supply or collection from the warehouse. Special orders, in size, color or finish that are not in current inventory, are also coordinated directly with us.

Can I see the forms before buying?
Yes. The showroom is at the Kfar Giladi 15 branch in Tel Aviv, during opening hours. You can see the main models, take measurements and get advice on choosing a size. It is recommended to call or write on WhatsApp before coming to make sure the model you are interested in is on display.
Where do the forms come from?
We import directly from the United States, Germany, China and other countries, from certified factories that work under quality control. Some of the products are from international brands such as PRYM. In every case the import is ours, with no middlemen.
Do you work with private customers or only with stores?
Both. A private customer can buy a single dress form, hangers or an ironing board on the website or at the branches. Stores, chains and distributors get a wholesale quote by quantity, by contacting us at 03-9444226 or on WhatsApp at 055-2473993.
Is stock available, or do I need to wait for an order from abroad?
Most models are in stock in our warehouse in Tel Aviv and supplied from it. Because we also serve wholesalers, a particular model may sell out before the website is updated; in that case we will let you know, offer a delivery date or an alternative model, and if you prefer, refund your payment in full.
What is the connection between HaBayit LaBubot and Makor HaTextile?
HaBayit LaBubot is a brand of Makor HaTextile Ltd., a family business in Tel Aviv that has operated since 1968. We imported and sold the forms and display equipment within Makor HaTextile for more than five years, and when the field grew we set up a brand and a website of its own. The team, the warehouse and the suppliers remained the same team, warehouse and suppliers.
