Product description
A 100 cm garment cover: protection, storage and carrying in one item
This garment cover is meant for clothes that need to stay clean, straight and ready to wear: a suit, jacket, short coat, tailored shirt or cocktail dress. It is made of non-woven fabric, a material in which the fibers are bonded by heat and pressure instead of weaving. The result is a light, stable, breathable fabric that blocks dust and direct light and doesn't trap moisture like a plastic bag.
The cover closes with a full-length zipper, so you can put the garment in and take it out without folding it and without crushing the shoulders. At the top there is a carrying handle for hanging and carrying, and at the bottom another handle. When you join the two handles, the cover folds in half and is carried like a bag, with the garment inside.
A width of 60 cm suits most standard adult hangers, including suit hangers with wide shoulders. A length of 100 cm covers a jacket or a suit whose pants hang folded over the hanger bar.
Common uses
Closet storage: Suits and evening wear that aren't worn every day are protected from dust, from fading by light and from rubbing against other clothes
Carrying to an event: The garment arrives at the wedding, conference or photo shoot pressed and clean, and you can change clothes on the spot
Travel: The cover folds in half using the two handles and fits in a trunk or a large suitcase
Handing a garment to a customer: Tailors, seamstresses and laundries hand over a finished garment in a neat cover instead of a bag
Stores and boutiques: Dignified packaging for a suit or jacket that was purchased, and keeping expensive items on the rack
Theater and productions: Protecting costumes between performances and in transfer between halls

Which color to choose
Black hides stains and wear and suits repeated use, travel and handing over to a customer. White gives a clean, bright look, suits stores and light-colored garments, and makes it easier to see the garment's color through the fabric.
Professional tips
Hang the garment on a suitable hanger before putting it in the cover. A hanger with wide shoulders preserves the shape of a jacket better than a wire hanger
Put only a clean, completely dry garment in the cover. Moisture and traces of sweat are what attract moths and create stains in long-term storage
Fold suit pants along the crease over the hanger bar, and that way they fit comfortably within the length of 100 cm
For garments whose length from the end of the hanger exceeds about 90 cm, such as long dresses and long coats, it is better to choose a longer cover
Don't cram several garments into one cover. A garment that has room to breathe stays free of wrinkles
After carrying folded, take the garment out and hang it immediately, so the carrying fold doesn't stay in the fabric
Common mistakes
Leaving the garment in the laundry's plastic bag: Plastic doesn't breathe, and in a humid climate it traps moisture that may cause odor and yellowing. Non-woven fabric lets air pass through
Choosing a length by the garment alone: Measure from the top of the hanger, not from the shoulders. The hook and shoulders of the hanger take up part of the length
Hanging and closing a garment that is warm from pressing: Steam sealed in the cover creates wrinkles again. Let the garment cool and dry before closing the zipper
Pulling the zipper when the fabric is caught: A garment of thin fabric or lace may catch in the zipper teeth. Hold the garment away from the zipper while closing
How it differs from other covers on the site
This model comes in one size, 60x100 cm, with two carrying handles, in black and white. It suits suits, jackets and short dresses. For long evening dresses and wedding dresses there are covers 180 cm long and models with depth for full dresses. When the garment needs to be seen from the outside, there are clear covers.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What is the size of the garment cover and which garments fit in it?
The cover is 60x100 cm. It suits a suit with pants folded over the hanger bar, a jacket, a blazer, a short coat, a shirt and a short dress. A garment whose length from the end of the hanger exceeds about 90 cm will be more comfortable in a 180 cm cover.
What is the cover made of and does the garment breathe inside it?
The cover is made of Non-Woven fabric, a light, breathable material. It blocks dust and direct light, and unlike a nylon bag it does not trap moisture, so it also suits long-term storage in a closet.
Why does the cover have two carry handles?
The top handle is used for hanging and carrying when the cover is open along its whole length. The bottom handle lets you fold the cover in half and hold both handles together, like a bag. That makes it convenient to carry a suit to an event, to the car or on a trip.
Which color is better - black or white?
Black hides dirt and wear and suits repeated use, travel and handing garments over to customers. White gives a light, clean look, suits stores and light garments, and makes it easier to identify the garment inside.
Can I order garment covers in large quantities for a business?
Yes. HaBayit LaBubot (the House of Dress Forms and Display Mannequins) is a direct importer and sells both to individuals and wholesale to stores, tailors, laundries and salons. For a quote on quantities and for questions about logo printing, contact us by phone at 03-9444226, on WhatsApp at 055-2473993 or by email at habayt.labuvot@gmail.com.
Does a suit with pants fit in a 100 cm cover?
Yes, when the pants are folded over the hanger bar under the jacket. For a long coat or a long dress you need a longer cover.
Is the cover suitable for business trips?
Yes. Fold the cover in half, hold the two handles together and carry it like a bag. That way the suit arrives without wrinkles.
What is the difference between it and the 180 cm long cover?
A cover 100 cm long is intended for short garments: jackets, shirts, suits and short dresses. For an evening gown, a long dress or a long coat you need a cover 160 or 180 cm long.
How do I store a garment in a cover for a long time?
Put only a clean, dry garment in the cover, because stains that have not been cleaned turn yellow over time. Hang the cover in a cool, dry, dark closet, and avoid attics, basements and proximity to a heat source. It is a good idea to leave a gap between the covers in the closet.
How do I clean the cover?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and let it dry completely before putting a garment in it.
