Product description

Breathable Garment Cover That Folds into a Carry Bag

The cover is made of non-woven fabric, a light synthetic fabric whose fibers are bonded by heat rather than woven. This structure lets air through, so the garment breathes inside the cover, while the fabric still blocks dust, dirt and direct light. Moisture can build up in a sealed plastic cover. In a non-woven cover the air circulates, which makes it especially suitable for a garment that stays hanging in the wardrobe for weeks and months.

The cover is 60 cm wide and 180 cm long. It holds a maxi dress, a fitted or flowing wedding dress, a full suit or a long coat on a regular hanger. The top is rounded to follow the shoulder line, and the zipper opens along the entire front. Thanks to the full opening, you can put the garment in without forcing the skirt through a narrow opening. The edges are finished with a black trim that reinforces them, and a small fabric label is sewn on the front.

On the back there are two carry handles, one at the top and one at the bottom. Fold the cover in half to about 60×90 cm, join the two handles and carry it in one hand. This way you can move a long dress along the street, in a car or on stairs without the hem dragging on the floor.

Common Uses

  • Long-term hanging in the wardrobe: evening wear, suits and coats between seasons and between events

  • Handing a dress to a client: after sewing, alterations or rental, in a neat cover that also keeps the dress safe at home

  • Transport to an event, a shoot or a fitting: fold it, carry it by hand and hang it up again on arrival

  • Rack organization in a studio or shop: matching covers keep finished garments clean near the work area

  • Travel: a suit or dress for an event abroad, in the trunk or the garment compartment

Who the Cover Is For

The cover suits bridal and evening wear salons that hand over and store dresses, designers and seamstresses who move garments between fittings, suit and fashion shops that present an expensive item in a cover, dry cleaners and laundries and stylists. At home too, it protects a formal garment hanging in the wardrobe. Businesses can order quantities directly from the importer, and wholesale prices are available on request.

Professional Tips

Room for the hanger and the hem

The garment should be at least 10 cm shorter than the cover. For a dress with a train, fold the train inward once before closing the zipper.

Folding correctly for carrying

Fold along the middle line, at the waist of the garment and not across the chest. This way the fold falls in an area with fewer decorations and fewer built-in seams.

Before long storage

Hang only a clean, completely dry garment in the cover. A small stain left on the fabric sets and yellows over time, even in a breathable cover.

Common Mistakes

  • Leaving the garment in the dry cleaner’s plastic bag: the bag is meant for short transfers and not for storage, and vapor gets trapped inside

  • A full ball gown in a flat cover: a dress with petticoats or a crinoline needs a 3D cover with a side gusset

  • An overcrowded wardrobe: even a breathable cover needs a little space between garments, so the air can flow and the fabric is not crushed

  • Expecting water resistance: non-woven repels dust but is not rainproof. For transport outdoors on rainy days, a PEVA cover is the right choice

How This Model Differs from Other Covers in the Category

This is a flat, full-length cover made of white breathable non-woven fabric, with a black trim and two handles for carrying it folded. The white PEVA cover of the same size is water-resistant and especially suited to transport, but it is not breathable. The 3D covers with a side gusset suit full dresses. You can compare all the options in the Dress and Suit Covers category.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of the foldable garment cover?

60 cm wide by 180 cm long, and folded in half about 60×90 cm. A maxi dress, suit or long coat hanging on a regular hanger fits in it.

What is the cover made of?

Non-Woven fabric. The fabric is light and breathable, blocks dust and dirt and lets air circulate around the garment.

How do you fold and carry the cover?

Fold it in half at the waist height of the garment and join the two handles at the back. This way the cover is carried in one hand like a bag, and the hem doesn't drag on the floor.

What is the difference between a non-woven cover and a PEVA cover?

Non-woven breathes and suits long hanging in a closet. PEVA is waterproof and especially suits outdoor transport, but doesn't breathe.

Can I order a quantity for a bridal salon or a store?

Yes. We are a direct importer and also sell wholesale to salons, designers, laundries and stores. For details on ordering in quantity, contact us by phone at 03-9444226 or on WhatsApp at 055-2473993.

Which garments suit the cover?

Evening gowns, narrow-cut wedding gowns, suits and long coats. At a length of 180 cm, a long garment hanging on a hanger also fits.

Does a puffy dress fit in this cover?

The cover is flat, so it suits dresses in a narrow cut. For a wedding or ball gown with a puffy skirt, a cover with a 25 cm gusset is better, in which the fabric isn't crushed.

Why is the top of the cover rounded?

The rounded shape follows the shoulder line of the garment, so the shoulders are not pressed and the cover sits neatly on the hanger.

How do you store a garment in a cover for a long time?

Put only a clean, dry garment into the cover, because stains that weren't cleaned yellow over time. Hang the cover in a cool, dry, dark closet, and avoid an attic, a basement and proximity to a heat source. It's best to leave a gap between covers in the closet.

How do I clean the cover?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and let it dry completely before putting a garment in it.
