Product description

Combination hanger for a complete outfit

The hanger is built from two parts. On top are rounded solid-wood shoulders with a white finish. Below is a metal bar with two clamps that slide along its length. This lets you hang both a top garment and a bottom garment on the same hanger: a suit jacket and trousers, a blouse and a skirt, or a two-piece set sold as one unit.

The hanger is 44.5 cm wide and 25 cm high, a standard size for adult clothing. The hook is made of metal with a chrome finish. At the ends of the shoulders there are notches that hold the thin straps of dresses, camisoles and tops, so the garment doesn't slip.

How this model differs from the other white wooden hangers

  • Flat white wooden hanger (model 10665): The same width, with no lower bar and no clamps. Intended for top garments only.

  • White wooden hanger with a pants bar (model 999312): 43 cm wide, and instead of clamps there is a bar over which the trousers are folded. Suitable for storage. The clamps here hold the garment from the waist so it falls straight, which suits display better.

  • Hanger with clamps, model 10851: Holds the entire outfit. Trousers and a skirt hang at their full length, with no fold and no crease line across the middle of the fabric.

Common uses

  • Displaying suits and outfits in a store, with the jacket and trousers hanging together

  • Hanging skirts and trousers on their own in the clamps, without a top garment

  • Two-piece sets: women's suits, pajamas, evening outfits and stage costumes

  • Hanging a garment finished in the studio before handing it to the customer or taking it to a photo shoot

  • Organizing a home closet, with each outfit ready on one hanger

Who the hanger is for

  • Fashion stores and boutiques: A line of uniform white hangers gives the rack a clean, tidy look. When the outfit hangs complete, the customer sees the combination and not just a single item.

  • Designers, seamstresses and tailors: For hanging finished work and fittings, without creases from folding.

  • Photo studios and stylists: The clean white doesn't compete with the garment in the frame, and the outfit stays ready to wear.

  • Laundries, clothing and costume rental: One item travels on one hanger, with no parts getting lost.

  • Wholesale buyers: For a whole store or a chain we recommend ordering hangers of the same model and series, to keep the shade and size consistent. Contact us for quantities.

Professional tips

  • Slide the clamps along the bar to match the waist width. On trousers, clamp close to the side seams. On a skirt, clamp at an equal distance from the center, so the garment falls straight.

  • Clamp the garment on the waistband and not on the body fabric. The band is thicker and stronger, and if a clamp mark remains on it, it is almost invisible.

  • For a suit, hang the trousers on the clamps first and only then the jacket on the shoulders. This way the jacket doesn't block your view of what you're doing, and the trousers aren't stretched.

  • For a garment with straps, put each strap into the notch at the end of the shoulder. This prevents slipping even when you move the hanger along the rack.

  • On a display rack, point all the hooks the same way. The hangers will sit at the same angle, and they are easier to pull out.

Common mistakes

  • Clamping delicate fabric: Silk, satin and velvet may keep the mark of the clamp. With such garments, place a thin piece of fabric between the clamp and the garment, or clamp on the lining.

  • A heavy coat on the shoulders: A width of 44.5 cm suits jackets, blouses and dresses. For a heavy winter coat, a hanger with thicker, wider shoulders is better.

  • Clamps too close together: If both clamps are near the center, the trousers fold in the middle of the fabric and one side drops.

  • Hanging a wet garment: Moisture may leave marks on the garment near the metal parts. Hang only dry garments.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of the white wooden hanger with clamps?

The hanger is 44.5 cm wide and 25 cm high, from the hook to the lower bar. This is a standard size for adult clothing, and it suits jackets, shirts and dresses in the common sizes.

How do I hang a whole suit on a hanger with clips?

First hang the pants: slide the two clips to the width of the waist and grip the waistband, close to the side seams. Then put the jacket on the shoulders and fasten one button, so the jacket keeps its shape.

What is the difference between a hanger with clamps and a hanger with a pants bar?

On a hanger with clamps the trousers or skirt hang from the waist, at full length and with no fold. On a hanger with a bar you fold the trousers over the bar, which saves height in the closet but leaves a crease line. For store display and for garments that shouldn't crease, a hanger with clamps is better.

Do the clamps leave marks on the fabric?

On regular fabrics such as wool, cotton and polyester, clamping on the waistband hardly leaves a mark. On delicate fabrics such as silk, satin or velvet, it's recommended to place a thin piece of fabric between the clamp and the garment, or to clamp on the lining.

Can the hanger be ordered in quantities for a store or a chain?

Yes. The hanger is sold per unit, and can be ordered in wholesale quantities for stores, chains, studios and laundries. For a quote for a quantity, contact us by phone at 03-9444226, on WhatsApp at 055-2473993 or by email at habayt.labuvot@gmail.com.

Can the clamps be moved?

Yes. The clamps slide along the lower bar, and you bring them closer or move them apart according to the waist width of the trousers or the skirt.

Can I hang just a skirt on the hanger?

Yes. Close the clamps on the skirt's waistband, and it hangs straight with no fold.

What is the difference between a wooden hanger and a plastic hanger?

A wooden hanger is sturdier and heavier, keeps the shape of the garment's shoulders and suits blazers, jackets and button-up shirts. A plastic hanger is lighter and thinner, and saves space on the rail.

How do I clean a wooden hanger?

Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and do not soak it in water. After wiping with a damp cloth, dry it before hanging a garment on it.

Why are there grooves in the shoulders of the hanger?

The grooves hold the straps of dresses, tank tops and shirts with straps, so the garment does not slip off the hanger.
