Product description
A wedding dress cover that leaves room for the skirt
A full bridal gown does not fit into a flat cover without being crushed. This cover has 25 cm deep side gussets, so it is not a flat bag but a three-dimensional hanging compartment: 60 cm wide, 180 cm tall, with enough room for layers of tulle, lace and petticoats to stay spread out instead of being pressed against each other.
The cover is made of white non-woven fabric with a black frame stitched along all the edges. The fabric protects against dust and handling. Unlike nylon, it does not seal the dress in, so moisture is not trapped inside. A full-length front zipper opens from top to bottom, so the dress goes in and out without pulling a wide skirt through a narrow opening. A clear window at the top shows which dress is hanging inside without opening the cover.
What the side depth actually changes
A princess or wide A-line skirt keeps its volume and does not crease from the pressure of the cover wall.
Lace, appliqués and beaded embroidery are not pressed against the front of the cover, so there is less friction and fewer creases.
The train can rest at the bottom of the cover, inside the depth, instead of being folded along the dress.
Common uses
Handing over a dress at a bridal salon: after the final fitting the dress leaves in a cover that protects it on the way home and on the trip to the venue.
Hanging before the event: keeping the dress in the wardrobe between the last fitting and the wedding.
Storage after the wedding: long-term storage of the bridal gown after cleaning.
Full evening and ball gowns: bat mitzvah dresses, henna dresses, stage costumes and dresses with a wide skirt.
Rental salons: orderly transfer of dresses between the salon, the cleaner and customers.
Who it is for
Bridal salons and evening gown designers who want to hand over every dress in a uniform, clean cover that matches the standard of the salon. Rental salons that keep stock of hanging dresses and need to identify each dress through the window. Seamstresses and alteration tailors returning a finished dress to the customer. Brides who took the dress home and want to protect it until the big day.

Professional tips for storing a wedding dress in a cover
Hang the dress on a padded or wide hanger, and put the weight on the dress's inner hanging loops, not on thin shoulder straps.
Before closing the zipper, gently gather the skirt into the depth and close slowly, with one hand holding the fabric away from the zipper teeth.
For long-term storage, place white acid-free tissue paper between the folds of the train and the layers.
Hang it in an interior closet, away from direct sun and heat sources, not in a storeroom, an attic or an enclosed balcony.
Clean the dress before long storage. Makeup, sweat and drink stains that are invisible today can turn yellow over time.
For storage lasting months, open the cover every few weeks and check the fabric.
Common mistakes
Choosing a cover by height alone. A flat 180 cm cover fits the height, but a full dress will be crushed in it. What matters is the side depth.
Confusing depth with a rigid structure. The depth is a flexible fabric wall. The black frame is stitched edging, not a skeleton. The cover does not stand on its own or inflate, and takes its shape from the dress inside.
Leaving the dress in a sealed plastic bag for a long time. Plastic is fine for a short trip. For weeks or months of storage, breathable fabric is better.
Cramming in a crinoline with rigid hoops. A depth of 25 cm suits soft skirts, tulle layers and a soft petticoat. A wide hooped crinoline is best stored separately from the dress.
Hanging a heavy dress on a thin wire hanger. It bends under the weight and leaves marks on the shoulders.
How this model differs from a flat cover
The site also has a long garment cover with a clear window and full zipper, 60×180 cm, with the same white non-woven look and black frame. The difference is the structure: that cover is flat, with no side depth, and suits slim-cut evening dresses, suits and coats. This model, with a depth of 25 cm, is designed for dresses with volume. You can compare all models in the dress and suit covers category.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions of the wedding dress cover with the gusset?
60 cm wide, 180 cm high and a 25 cm side gusset. The depth gives room for a full skirt and layers of tulle, so the dress does not get crushed inside the cover.
What is the cover made of?
Non-woven fabric (Non-Woven) in white with a black trim. The non-woven fabric protects from dust and from contact with hands, and unlike nylon it does not seal the dress or trap moisture.
What is the difference between a cover with a gusset and a flat cover?
A cover with a gusset has side walls that create a three-dimensional compartment. A flat cover suits narrow dresses and suits. A cover with a 25 cm gusset suits wedding and evening gowns with a wide skirt, layers and a train.
How do you put a wedding gown into the cover without creasing it?
Open the zipper all the way, hang the gown on a padded hanger and insert it from the front. Gently gather the skirt and train into the gusset at the bottom, and close the zipper slowly while keeping the fabric away from the zipper teeth.
Can I order a quantity for a bridal salon or a store?
Yes. HaBayit LaBubot (the House of Dress Forms and Display Mannequins) is a direct importer and also sells in bulk orders to salons, designers and stores. For a wholesale order, you can contact us on WhatsApp at 055-2473993 or by phone at 03-9444226.
How do you store a wedding gown for a long time?
First have the gown professionally cleaned. Fill the folds and sleeves with acid-free tissue paper, hang the cover in a cool, dry, dark closet, and avoid a basement, an attic and a garage. For an especially heavy gown you can also consider lying flat storage in a box.
Is the cover suitable for a dress with a train?
Yes. Fold the train gently inward, under the skirt, before closing the zipper. The 25 cm depth leaves it room without crushing it.
What is the clear window used for?
The window at the top lets you identify the garment without opening the zipper. This is convenient in a closet with several covers, in a bridal salon and at a dry cleaner.
Can I fly with the garment in the cover?
Yes. The cover protects the garment on the way. Before the flight, check with the airline whether you can take it into the cabin, because the rules vary between airlines.
How do you clean the cover?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and let it dry completely before putting a garment in it.
